Surprise party 2010

This year we decided to attend the city of Surprise "Surprise Party". I've heard about it, but we have never gone in the past. Some friends of our invited us to go with their family so we went:0)
I had no idea it would be so awesome! They had about 10 hot air balloons that they blew up, sky divers jump it at night, and then fireworks at the end. They also had tons of vendors and of course my favorite...funnel cakes!
We had so much fun!

That's my boy!

I don't have a picture for this one...but just had to share!
This past week the boys decided that they wanted to earn their own money to spend on Christmas gifts. One night they asked me if they could find things that they could sell and post them on craigslist.
I decided it wouldn't do any harm just as long as it was all done in my name and I had to do all the comuniating with other people.

They ended up making $92.00!!! I was pretty proud of them :0) They both have quiet the bussiness mind.

Preschool stuff...

I hate to post too much about preschool stuff, but this past week this was a big part of my life!
On Monday and Tuesday I did a polar Express party for the kids...as you can see I was the train conductor, and then we had Mrs. Clause come to visit.
On Wednesday and Thursday and I did a "Preschool Cafe" for the parents to come and see their kids. I am personally pretty proud of it and I thought that it went very well.

Halle's gingerbread girl

Halle was given the project at school to make her own gingerbread person. She did it all by herself and was very proud. I found this video on my camera (she made it while I was scouts). She would die if she knew I posted it, but it's just too darn cute!

My newest project

I made this just recently for Christmas...I thought it turned out cute :0)

Jay's actual birthday

Jayden's birthday was on the 30th. We all did our tradition chocolate chip pancake breakfast and presents.
Tyler picked Jay up a little early and took him for his birthday. Jay really wore Tyler completely out! They went to lunch, the mall, bowling, Cabella's, and then Peter Piper Pizza for lunch. They both had a lot of fun :0)

Here comes Santa!

After our Thanksgiving celebration, we had a special visitor come. The kids all truly LOVE this Santa. It's sort of become our Gordon family tradition now :0)

Thanksgiving Week

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We were able to have it at Brett and Heather's so we didn't have to go anywhere :0) We had my parents come down as well as have Natalie and Tim's family stay with us.

We had lots of fun. Heather and Brett did a great job! We even had a jump house for the kids to play in. Heather bought the ugliest sweaters she could find for everyone and wrapped them up for us to unwrap. Here are some fun pictures.

Natalie and I also had a fun time that night of doing our annual black Friday night. This time we started at 10pm and stayed out all night waiting for deals.

Jayden's Surprise Party!

This past month, I have been working diligently to give Jayden a surprise party. I wanted to do something fun since his birthday always lands real close to Thanksgiving. We are always gone, or all his friends are gone so we never really get to have a party.
This year we did a surprise...and I think I didn't a pretty good job :0)

We had pizza, soda, cake and ice cream. Then we all watched a movie that I made for Jay filled with picture of him from the time he was born until now. The song I put it to was "Don't worry, be happy". It was the best song I could think of that would fit Jayden.

Then I gave all the kids 4 tickets. They got to buy popcorn, soda, or candy with their tickets and then watch the newest release movie "The last Air bender". It was a lot of fun!

I think we surprised Jayden pretty well. It took him a second to even realize what was going on.

Jayden's Arrow of Light

On Tuesday, November 16 Jayden received his Webelo, Arrow of Light, as well as crossed over into boy Scouts.
It was a very special night for him especially since I am his Webelo Leader. The Arrow of Light is like the Eagle of Boy Scouts. It is the highest rank you can receive and is the only badge (along with the religious knot) that can be carried over into boy scouts.

Our Thankful Tree

For Family Home Evening last week we talked about all the things that we have to be thankful for.
We began a "Thankful Tree" contest. We all have until November 22 to win. We are trying to see who can come up with the most things to be thankful for. The rules are:
1.) Each leaf has to be different
2.) No more than three a day

The winner gets to go out to dinner with me or Tyler all by themself.

I am very proud of each of them for really thinking about all the things that they are thankful for! Even Halle has to do hers by herself each day :0)

This is our tree just after one week! I will post our final tree and who won on the 22!

TYLER!!!!

This past week, the FORD Brake Engineers had their quarterly meeting with Link Engineering management. This was an Really big deal - not only was it the ENTIRE Link company (worldwide) but also the ENTIRE Ford Braking department!

Tyler was very recognized by the following:

"Tyler Feltner displays professionalism with the willingness to do whatever it takes! His efforts have helped make the 2013 Police program a success while in California and Grattan. Tyler has no issues jumping in with Ford personnel to get the job done without being asked regardless even if it is a 100 degree parking lot on a set of jack stands on a car that just came off the track and is red hot. Tyler has worked well with all the team members including Vehicle Engineering."

Good Job my Babe :0)

(trying) to take pictures of the kids :0)

I decided to try to take some pictures of the kids today for my super Saturday coming up as well as Christmas cards.
It wasn't as easy as I was hoping. Brooke was like trying to catch a falling star. Then Halle was just posing in every old position she could think of. It was fun....

Witches hat

I had my witches hat out during this last week to wear at preschool (we had our black day).
Brooke thought it was fun to wear too. The hat went completly over her head and she was running into walls...but it was still cute!

Little Alice :0)

Brooke was so much fun this year for Halloween. She Alice from Alice in wonderlang.
We have a million pictures of her because she was being so cute! Every time we held up a camera she would say "CHEESH" and give us a big cheesey smile.

Our little Princess...again

I know it's hard to believe, but Halle was princess again! This year she was Snow White (again). The first night for the trunk or treat we colored her hair black. She looked very pretty, but it was a mess to wash out. She had black all over her face when I was washing it out.
The second night we went to a friends neighborhood and had a little party. We did a little more simple version, but she still looked beautiful!

Jayden as a Sumo

This picture isn't near as funny as he looked in real life. For the past three years Jayden keeps saying that he wants to be a sumo wrestler for Halloween. This year we really found the costume. He received a lot of attention.

Here is a picture also of Jayden with his friends..it kind of helps show how big he was!

Halloween

I've been a little behind on my posts...mainly because Tyler has been gone for most of the month of October, and I'm taking a math class that is killing me!

However, We did have a fun Halloween weekend. I never really thought that Austin looked like me until I saw this picture of us at the ward trunk or treat.

My Poor Car!!!

Yesterday (October 2) I was in an accident. Luckily it wasn't my fault!
I was driving down Lake Pleasant BLVD. when an older lady was coming out of a shopping center. She didn't see me so I tried to swerve out of the way. She still hit me on the side. This broke the axle on my car and made to so I couldn't steer. I had to drive straight off of the road on the other side. I am very grateful that there wasn't any traffic coming and that we were all safe.

Sadly, Tyler was away in Michigan so Brett came to pick us up. But we are all safe and I will have a rental car until mine can be fixed.

Primary Program

This past Sunday was our ward's primary program. This year Jayden and Halle were my only kids in it. Jayden was even able to sing with a small group. They sang the 2nd verse to "The Holy Ghost". It was a very touching program. I think I cried most of it. I don't know if they are always that good, or if I just was able to listen this time! Austin was with Brooke out in the hall (I know it is a surprise that she wasn't silent through church!) and then Jayden and Halle were on the stage, and Tyler was again...out of of town. It was very peaceful!

Kristin's Birthday

I was able to celebrate my 31st birthday a couple of weeks ago. I was very spoiled by all my friends and family. I had a wonderful day!
Halle took this picture of me (I really don't just pose for pictures of myself!) So I decided to go ahead and post it.
